USD/CHF plummets after FOMC minutes
FXStreet (Córdoba) - USD/CHF lost more than 70 pips after the release of the FOMC minutes and bottomed at 0.9509, reaching the lowest price since September 30. Price remains near the lows as Greenback tumbles across the board.
">The minutes showed that FOMC members pledged for precaution regarding any changes in the current forward guidance. Officials saw the outlook of the US economy threatened by a potential global slowdown and also noted that a stronger dollar could impact on growth and exports.
USD/CHF retreats further
The pair is about to post the third daily decline in a row and the lowest close for October, extending the retreated from levels near 0.9700. Three days ago USD/CHF was trading at 1-year highs, since then lost more than 170 pips.
